Don't Quit

sometimes what we may want, may not actually be what God wants, or at least at that time. He just probably has something way better than what you think is needed nowSometimes it can take a lot of hard work and patience to live a life dedicated to God. There are times when we can get discouraged when we pray but don't see immediate results. There are many reasons why we pray and don't see anything happening right away. Maybe what we asked God for isn't in His will for us (1 John 5:14). Maybe God has something much better in store for us than what we are asking Him for. Maybe God wants to teach us a lesson. Only God knows the  plans He has for our life, and only He knows how things will turn out. God knows what is best and it is our job to trust Him. Do not be discouraged if God doesn't respond to a prayer right away; He hasn't forgotten about you and He will never stop listening to you. In fact, God hears our every prayer, and He listens out for those who are faithful to Him (1 Peter 3:12). Galatians 6:9 says, "And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." In the end, our reward will come from God. Don't stop doing the right thing! The Lord sees you while you are working hard to help others. God knows when you pray on behalf of someone else. God lets us know that we will receive our reward from Him as long as we do not give up. The key to receiving our rightful reward is patience and obedience; patience to hold on and wait on God, and obedience to His word to do the right thing no matter what is going on around us. Continue to press on to do the right thing even if no one sees you, because it is pleasing in God's sight (1 John 3:22).

Be A Real Friend

People of Good QualityLuke 6:31
"Treat others just as you want to be treated."

It is easy to be nice to the people we call our friends. It is not hard to return a simple "hello" to the stranger that walks past on the sidewalk. It is even quite simple to say "thank you" to someone who holds the door open for you. But how easy is it to be kind to those who we you know don't like us? How painless is it to do something nice for someone who intentionally hurts us? Pretty Girls have integrity, which means we treat others with love and respect - no matter what they have done or did to us. The bible says that we need to treat others the way we want to be treated. If someone is mean or rude to you, God sees and knows all, and He will take care of that person (Romans 12:19). In any relationship, we must first treat people the way we would want them to treat us. The first step to finding a good friend is to first start off by being a great friend.

Walk Safely

Integrity [in-teg-ri-tee] noun
the quality of having high moral principles, being reliable and trustworthy.

So true
Think for a second and describe yourself in a few words. If you had to ask someone else to describe your personality, would they use the same adjectives that you did? Your integrity can easily be described as how you act and what you do when no one else is around. Stay true to who God created you to be. You should always be the same person regardless of the crowd you are in. If you cannot be yourself around someone, you do not need to be around them. Keep your word – when you say you are going to do something, make sure you do it. Be honest and trustworthy; your friends and family should be able to depend on you if they need you. Having integrity means you do the right thing no matter what the circumstances are. Be sure to pay careful attention to what you do and say; God sees everything and He knows your heart’s intentions. Follow God’s word with integrity and you will be able to receive His blessings for your life. Strive daily to live a life that will be pleasing in God’s eyes.

Proverbs 10:9

“People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will slip and fall.”
